Virtual Sports Fundraisers

To help raise funds for our chapter’s scholarship, we will be conducting two virtual sports fundraisers which include a college football pick’em league and a Big Ten survival football league. The donation amount will depend on the game played with the proceeds benefitting the Central Florida Scholarship. All prizes will be given out at the end of the season.

College Football Pick’em Pool

Each week, we will have a list of select games for that week that will include all Big Ten contests and select Top 25 contests. Fill out the form below, hit submit and then send in the donation to enter. Prizes will be given out to winners after the season. The leaderboard will be displayed on this page.

Survival College Football

Each week, each participant will select TWO Big Ten teams they want to use for that week. Once those teams are selected, they cannot be used the rest of the season. If you get a game wrong, you get a strike. Three (3) strikes will eliminate you (please note that this was changed from 2 strikes due to limited participation at the agreement of all participants). The last participant standing wins the league. If two participants are tied at the end of the season, we will go to our tie-breakers.

  1. For our first tie-breaker, each week we will ask our participants how many points they think Penn State will score in their game and add them up at the end of the season. We will then determine how close that participant was to the actual total of points scored this season.
  2. For our second tie-breaker, we will take the record of each of their remaining teams and combine them to determine the winner.
  3. If still tied, we will spit the earnings because, well, you probably deserve it at that point!

To register, fill out the form below and submit the donation for the season. You only need to submit the payment once prior to the start of the survival season. Make sure that you submit your teams prior to the start of the games in order for Track the status of your team on the leaderboard below. Registration is open and the season begins Friday, October 30, 2020. Prizes will depend on the number of participants we receive and will be distributed after the season ends. Good Luck!
