On the evening of Saturday, May 12th, we will have a group volunteer event at Give Kids the World (GKTW) Village in Kissimmee, Florida.  This 84-acre, non-profit resort provides week-long, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families referred by Wish organizations. Volunteer opportunities for our group include:

  • Serving dinner at Nancy’s Kitchen (12 years minimum with parent)
  • Helping with the “Ready, Set, Think” game show (12 years minimum with parent)
  • Attending the Amberville Train Station (must be 16 years or older)

Shifts start between 5:00 and 6:30 pm and last until 9 or 9:30 depending on the assignment. We only have 12 spots available for this particular opportunity and all information needs to be submitted to Give Kids the World by mid-April.  If you are interested, please e-mail us by APRIL 14th at info@centralfloridapsu.com for additional information and instructions to register at the GKTW website.  Let’s show our community the PSU serving spirit!
