For the first time in awhile, the Nittany Lions cracked the top 25 (AP poll). In perhaps one of the greatest games in their history, and arguably one of the most important, Penn State beat the #2 team in the country in Ohio State. It was the statement game James Franklin has been looking for, and the game that may be forever be identified as the one that allowed the program and the school to turn the corner and finally put the past behind them. Now, the 5-2 Nittany Lions will take on a sub .500 Purdue Boildermaker team. It will be an opportunity for the Lions to continue to solidy themselves as a solid program worth of a top-25 ranking. Game kicks off at Noon in West Lafayette, Indiana.
